The Slab Clamp Overhead Crane consists of a bridge structure, crane traveling mechanism, hoisting mechanism, slab clamp, and an intelligent electrical control system. It is designed for handling hot slabs in continuous casting lines, transporting them to reheating furnaces or storage yards, as well as moving, stacking, and loading ambient-temperature slabs in finished product warehouses.

Equipped with interchangeable slab clamps, the crane can safely handle slabs of various thicknesses, lengths, weights, and lifting configurations, providing a flexible and efficient solution for steel production and material handling.

  • Intelligent Control: Supports variable speed control (up to 1:10 or higher), overload protection and alarms, remote control, PLC automation, fault diagnosis, and real-time monitoring display.

  • When the loading direction runs parallel to the stacker position: the lifting mechanism of the gripper shall be parallel to the main girder. Please refer to Page 1 of the parameter sheet.
  • When the loading direction is perpendicular to the stacker position: the gripper lifting device shall be perpendicular to the main girder. Please refer to Page 2 of the parameter sheet.
