To support China's national Quality Month initiative, strengthen quality awareness and improve product quality, Nucleon held the launch meeting for its 2026 Quality Month on September 1.
The event adopted the theme “Begin a New Journey in Quality, Strengthen Value Creation and Build an Excellent Ecosystem Together.”
Leadership Sets Direction for Crane Quality Management
Chairman Jin Qinghao outlined the company's plans for developing its quality culture. He emphasized that quality affects the company's future and that a strong quality culture is the foundation of effective quality management.
Nucleon will promote quality development through three connected areas: awareness, capability and consistent action. The company aims to prevent defects through employee competence, maintain quality requirements through management systems and encourage self-inspection through company culture.
The company will also promote craftsmanship, recognize employees who demonstrate strong quality awareness and reinforce the principle that product quality reflects professional integrity.
Skills and Process Controls Strengthen Crane Manufacturing Quality
The Human Resources Department and Quality Management Department will organize employee skills assessments. Results will be linked to career development and employee recognition, encouraging personnel to improve their technical capabilities.
Nucleon will also strengthen work according to drawings, procedures and standards. Its closed-loop inspection process covers:
- Self-inspection
- Mutual inspection
- Specialist inspection
- Final inspection before warehousing
The company will use its quality traceability system to investigate quality incidents and reinforce accountability. Frontline managers will use daily meetings and other routine management activities to identify problems and implement corrections promptly.
Employees Commit to Product Quality
Under the leadership of Deputy Director Wang Lei, meeting participants took a quality pledge expressing their commitment to rigorous work, first-class product quality and the development of an internationally recognized brand.
Yang Dongfang, Deputy Head of the Quality Management Department, presented the 2026 Quality Month activity plan and explained its implementation arrangements.
Employee representatives from the Quality Management Department, Production Department and Product Design Department also shared improvement plans covering quality practices, product awareness and quality management methods.
Building a Long-Term Crane Quality Culture
The Quality Month launch established a framework based on quality awareness, employee capabilities and process control.
